#Look at what’s new!

This is our first year with sheep and these our the first twins born on our farm! It is so exciting to wake up every morning and look out the window to see if any more ewes have lambed.
When my husband first told me he wanted to start raising sheep, I thought he was crazy. I looked at him the same way he looked at me when I said, “Let’s tap that maple tree and make our own syrup,” or “I think beekeeping will be fun.” Fortunately, I have learned to trust his ideas and he has learned to trust mine, or at least he goes along with them and let’s me try.
I will say, if you have an idea you want to explore, go for it. Don’t let anything stop you. Did you hear me? I’ll say it louder for the kids in the back…
GO FOR IT! DON’T LET ANYTHING STOP YOU! There. I hope that sunk in. Whatever it is, figure it out. Try it. Fail and then try again. After all, FAIL stands for First Attempt In Learning, right? Right!
